Mid-Point of the Awakening

Boy is this book way different from the TV show. The main differences: Elena is a stereotypical popular senior who gets what and who she wants, she has blond hair, her best friends are Bonnie and Meredith, Caroline is a b with an itch ex friend who is now a nemesis of Elena's, Stefan is weird as all get out, Elena and Stefan don't meet at the cemetery, oh yeah, Elena's parents have been dead for 3 years, Elena has a 4-year-old sister, Bonnie has an older sister, and Stefan lives as a tenant for Mrs. Flowers (not the Uncle). Most of the characters have different last names in the book as well, for example: Tyler Lockwood is Tyler Smallwood. Matt doesn't have a sister. Though the character Vicki does still get attacked.

I am enjoying the book and seeing all the differences between the books and the show. I am hoping Damon shows up soon.
